  1. Hi,
You left a comment on Azash’s post in February… I spoke about following ‘him’ or his toe?

My website by coincidence is http://WWW.QUIRKYCLAUS.COM

And my WordPress site is: http://sebastianwhitewrites.wordpress.com/

But you need to pick a theme for your site, it is really simple, I didn’t realise this myself until a few weeks ago, and my site looked then similar to yours, but as you can see – it entirely transforms the look of this! I’m still tweaking the theme presently, so you may not see the finished article when you visit my site. Feel free to follow… thanks!

I’m also completing a comic fantasy book at the moment titled The Tallest Dwarf, which a synopsis of – is on the final page of the above website.

    • Thanks for your reply. I’m with you–I don’t know if I’m following Azash or his toe either! 🙂 I haven’t seen any posts lately.
I picked ‘quirky’ because I wasn’t sure what theme I was going with. I started out with every intention of talking about writing and health (I’m a retired RN). I noticed there were a lot of better writing sites than mine so I changed my focus. My writing is sometimes on the quirky side, and I ended up with such a variety of subjects to talk about that I left it as the quirky writing corner. I believe that when I was selecting a name, the first two I wanted were already taken.
I like the title of your comic fantasy book. I’ll have to get a copy. I did not plan to write any children’s books, but 2 have come to mind. Both are quirky–one is with a dolphin, and the other is in another world.
I’ll visit your sites in a little bit. From your comments, I’m curious to see them. I need to learn how to do a website for my writing. I have one book out already, but, at the rate I’m going, the next one will be almost a year before it hits the stands. It seems almost silly to do a website now.
How do you find the time to manage writing, emails, blogs and web sites? I have too many distractions. Something is always being sacrificed to make room for the other, and eventually nothing gets done!
It’s nice to know there’s another “Quirky” around. I will follow you.

  2. Thanks for the follow! 😀 I like quirky so I’ll definitely check back.

  3. I have nominated you for the Dragon’s Loyalty Award for being such a loyal follower and supporter of my blog. http://allergictolifemybattle.wordpress.com/2013/11/26/dragons-loyalty-award/

    • Thank you! That’s so sweet. I didn’t even know there was such a reward. I’ll have to look it up. I hope you and yours have a blessed Thanksgiving. Connie

  4. I have received 3 emails from you. It seemed they were meant for someone else as the latest one said “My apology for taking so long to get back to you. I’ve been swamped.”
I have never written you and would appreciate it if you check to see if your emails were meant for another blogger.
    Thank you.

  5. Thanks for following my blog “In So Many Words.” Be well, Dorothy 🙂

  6. Well, things are truly eclectic and quirky ’round these parts. I LOVE IT! Thanks for finding me so I could find you back.
    Cheers,
    Stephanie

  7. You might enjoy my post on the Dublin Writer’s museum. Take care. Emma.

  11. Hi I have nominated you for the Inspirational Blogger Award, so if you would like to take part then the link is here https://theramblingsofaqueen.wordpress.com/2015/05/26/inspirational-blogger-award/, but of course, you don’t have to and it’s entirely your choice! 🙂

    • Thank you. When I first read this in my posts, I thought it was about someone else; but since it shows up in my comment section, I guess you mean me. I’m honored and will check out the site.

  12. Hope you know how grateful I am that you reblogged one of my poems. Certainly it is encouraging. Smiles.

  13. Thanks very much for following The Immortal Jukebox. I hope you will enjoy lots of entertaining writing and the wide variety of music. I usually post once a week. Please feel free to add comments. If it’s been a while since you visited come on over and see what’s new! Good luck with your blog. Regards Thom.

    • I loved the music back then. It had been a while since I last visited your blog. I normally get an email notification of a new post, but I think there’s some that I’m not being notified about.

  14. Thanks for the reblog!

  15. Thanks very much for Reblog of John Sebastian post. Thom.

  16. You’re most welcome.

  17. Thanks for like.

  18. Thank you for following my site! I will visit your site regularly, love it!

  19. I’m pleased and thankful you reblogged my poetry, kind reader. Very…

  20. HI, I’m really sorry, but I’m wondering if you can take me off of your email list. I tried to unfollow you but I never followed you to begin with so I’m not sure how I’m getting so many emails from you every day. Please see if you can remove me from your list somehow. Thank you.

    • Sorry, I didn’t read this one first. I’ll see what I can do to remove you. I post once a day most of the time, but lately I’ve gotten carried away. Could my following you be the reason you’re getting so many emails? I apologize for the confusion.

  21. I tried to leave a comment on a Faith Filled Friday post, didn’t seem to work for me…

    • I’m sorry about that, but I have no clue as to why it wouldn’t take it. No one else has said anything problems leaving comments. Try leaving a comment on another post and let me know if it doesn’t work. Thank you. Connie

  22. Didn’t want to post answer to “Ponder A Patent Riddle” on my blog but thought you would get a kick out of the answer. 🙂 It’s the official patent description of one of only 22 patented sounds registered in America. It describes the Tarzan yell. 🙂

  23. Dear Quirky,

I love your website name by the way! Thanks for your message! It is so great to meet people like you through blogging!

    —M.

  24. QWC:
Thanks for visiting, the likes, and following Bookshelf, written for inquisitive people just like you. Congrats on your retirement as on RN. Look forward to reading your posts. Cheers. Alex
