Faith Filled Friday: Comforting Words from God’s Word

With these troubled times I thought a few verses regarding worry, fear and God’s comfort would be helpful. Remember Psalm 23. That is always a good Psalm to read for comfort and reassurance. These are all from my King James Version Bible. ~ Connie

Psalm 9:9 The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
Psalm 22:19 But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength; haste thee to help me.
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 56:3-4 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Psalm 91:5-6 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor the arrow that flieth by day; nor the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Psalm 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it and is safe.
Joel 2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Luke 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
