Faith Filled Friday: A Christian is Like a Pumpkin

November 15, 2019

A post came around on Facebook which I thought was really cute and gave me the idea for this blog. I am using a few different Bible verses and added a bit more to it. ~ Connie

John 3:16  You’re in the pumpkin patch with hundreds of other pumpkins. You accept Jesus as your savior and invite Him into your heart and life.
For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 15:16  Jesus picks you out of the patch and brings you into His fold.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you…

2 Corinthians 5:17  Jesus washes all the dirt and dead leaves off.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

John 15:11  Next, he scoops out all the messy stuff and replaces it with His joy.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Luke 8:11  You keep the seeds to savor and share with others
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

Psalm 146:5  Then He carves a happy, smiling face.
Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

Matthew 5:16  The final touch is His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.
Let you light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
