1. I love to see what Just A Pinch Recipes has to offer in her blogs. She always has good recipes and interesting facts and histories on different things.
This first article in about the history of Easter eggs and is by the Kitchen Crew. I had planned to reblog it, but when I saw her post on how to boil the perfect egg, I decided to do links to both so you can enjoy the photos. Also, she has more links for you to read and enjoy.

2. This link has lots of photos to show what the egg looks like at different times of cooking. It gives you step-by-step directions. I’ve always put ice in with my eggs, but her tip says to remove the eggs from the hot water and place them directly into the ice water. I always dumped out most of the hot water, ran them under cold water then put several cups of ice into the water. My way was not cooling them as fast as hers.
I’m printing out a copy of this and putting it in my cookbook so it will be handy.
