Faith Filled Friday with a touch of humor

September 2, 2017

Don’t let your worries get the best of you. Remember, Moses started out as a basket case.

Some minds are like concrete–thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

A lot of church members who are singing “Standing on the Promises” are just sitting on the premises.

God loves everyone, but probably prefers “fruits of the spirit” over “religious nuts!”

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.

If God is your Co-pilot – swap seats!

The sermon this morning: ‘Jesus Walks on Water.’ The sermon tonight: ‘Searching for Jesus.’

Ladies, don’t forget the rummage sale. It’s a chance to get rid of those things not worth keeping around the house. Bring your husbands.

Miss Charlene Mason sang ‘I will not pass this way again,’ giving obvious pleasure to the congregation.

Eight new choir robes are currently needed due to the addition of several new members and to the deterioration of some older ones.

Please place your donation in the envelope along with the deceased person you want remembered.

The church will host an evening of fine dining, super entertainment and gracious hostility.

Potluck supper Sunday at 5:00 PM – prayer and medication to follow.

When you feel like you’re drowning in life, don’t worry–your Lifeguard walks on water.

Many folks want to serve God, but only as advisers.

The good Lord didn’t create anything without a purpose, but mosquitoes come close.

Ever wonder why there’s a stairway to heaven and a highway to hell?

Some minds are like concrete–thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

You don’t stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop laughing!
