Thanks to My Readers

October 9, 2015

Even though I have over 1500 posts, I still feel new at this. One of the things I always wanted to do was to thank new followers as they joined my blog. Recently, I lagged behind in that. My apologies and my thanks. I’d also like to thank all of my readers who have been following me regularly. It’s been fun and I’ve learned a lot from reading all of the blogs.

Some of you are aware that I occasionally write for our local magazine–GREENWOOD the lifestyle magazine of greenwood county. Kristen, the editor, has given me permission to copy those articles to my blog as long as I give her magazine credit. It is a terrific magazine. The pictures are always outstanding. I used take photos and include them, but Kristen has a real photographer take them. I still take some and keep them for my records , plus give a copy to the interviewee. Other members of our local Writer’s Guild and the Artists’ Guild also write for it. A now defunct online magazine–The Greenwood Magazine–has the first article I wrote. It was about Professor Brodhacker at Lander University and the work she is doing with NASA. My pics were used for that article. I found it recently, but neglected to save it. I don’t know how long it will stay without being updated.

Also, I’d like to thank those who have nominated me for awards. I still haven’t figured out how to put them on my site. Way back when, I tried to follow the simple directions, but apparently they weren’t simple enough. I haven’t tried lately to see if they’ll stick now.

One of these days when I’m rolling in money from my writing, I’ll hire a computer wizard to do my blog. That’s probably the only way I’ll have a fantastic blog site.

Boy, do I know how that goes. One of those “some day” circumstances.

    • I have faith that it could happen, but I’m not holding my breath. 🙂
Thank you for following. I hope you will continue to find blogs of interest. Always feel free to comment. I’ll be visiting your blog next.
