“life simply does not respect our plans.” – I pulled this one sentence from the article. I have found that to be so true, as most of you probably have as well.

We had a mixed day here.  The weather was glorious and sunny but we need rain again. We spent most of the day out in the field in spite of the fact that the MSDS manual isn’t finished.  With days this wonderful it’s hard to keep one’s mind focussed on poison and HAZMAT stuff.

I had a phone call today that reminded me of one of the liabilities of RV’ing.  As well as the consequences of life choices.  A volunteer suffered a timing belt failure on their truck.  Living close to the edge of society and without very much income the failure poses a serious problem for them.  It will be some time before they can afford to get the truck fixed.  They are far enough from a town with a reliable mechanic that the tow to the shop will cost a couple hundred…
